I have several air compressors ranging from 2 gallons to 50 gallons of various horsepower used mostly for crafting, inflating, nail gun, and painting. I was wondering if there is an attachment sold that lets me use the air compressor as a power washer to wash my car. Someone suggested a sandblasting attachment, but not sure if that’s the way to go. Could someone give me some advice.

I want to power wash my fence and I’d rather buy an attachment for my hose (if there is one) than rent a power washer. Do you know if this is a possibility?

you can get special jet nozzles at home improvement centers. They won’t be as good as what a pressure washer will give you but it’s a lot cheaper.

Watch sale papers because you can get an inexpensive pressure washer that will do the job fairly well. Saves time and water too;-)

You can still do it but dont expect to do much skiing on it. The big guns up North are fed by fire hoses and high, I mean high pressure air. As long as the water is atomized and you have some air pressure to force it into the freezing air, below 32 will make the kids happy and yourself too. Gets better when the temp is closer to 20f. . Converting ATV to side shaft power washer motor?

I have an 80′s ATV w/ bad motor that has been sitting for almost a decade. I also have a 6.5hp honda motor from a power washer. Is it possible to mate the two together? I don’t care about performance. Has anyone done this or know a link to a web site?

To be honest you probably can’t get a clutch for the engine that matches the chain for the ATV. Now with a little fabrication anything can be done. My suggestion would be to either trade the Honda for parts or cash to fix the ATV engine. Parts should still be available but most likely you will have to dig for them. If you can find a clutch for your Honda, you could change the sprocket on the ATV to match it. But you would most likely be changing the sprocket hub as well. You would need axle diameter and the shaft diameter on the Honda to go this route. There are a couple of good sites for this online.
